Frequently Asked Questions

Our store hours are Wednesday through Friday, 9am - 1pm.  We will be open some Saturdays -- please refer to the 'SALES & NEWS' page. 

There may be times when we must close due to extenuating circumstances, so please call if you're ever in doubt!

SUMMER HOURS 

- The Cottage will close by 12:30pm.  We reserve the right to close early due to the heat.  If in doubt, please call to make sure we're open.   

We accept CASH or CHECK.

The Cottage received 501(c)(3) exempt status under the U.S. Internal Revenue Service tax code. There is no tax on purchases.  All proceeds go to the Sisters of Immaculate Heart.

We update The Cottage on Facebook, Yelp, and Instagram 

(#thecottageov, #vintageshoppingov, #thriftingov). 

We offer advertised sales throughout the month.  Visit our 'Sales & News' page, as well as social media sites often!

All sales are final. However, if you believe that an item was misrepresented or faulty at the time of purchase, please bring it to our attention and we will do our best to make it right.

Donations of items may be dropped off at any time.  Please call if you have a large donation - we  may be able to pick up.

We do not take mattresses, major appliances, non-working or broken items.  Please make sure items are in working order and in good condition.  

A receipt of donation can be provided.
